Encinitas Classes

Children’s Manners Class Level 1:

February 23rd  – March 16th  every Monday

May 5th  – 26th  every Tuesday

 

When: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Where: Encinitas Community Center

Who: Children ages 5-15

Temecula Classes

Children’s Manners Class:

February 4th – 25th every Wednesday

April 8th – 28th every Wednesday


When: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Where: Harveston Community Park

Murrieta Classes

Children’s Manners Class:

February 3rd – 24th every Tuesday

 

When: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Where: Copper Canyon Park

Who: Children ages 5-15

Week 1: Manners for Everyday

Introductions: Students will learn how to introduce themselves and others properly, including how to make eye contact, shake hands, say hello, and smile.

 

Communication: This includes teaching children how to speak politely, use appropriate language, and express themselves clearly and respectfully.

Week 2: Our Personal Best

Gratitude: Children will learn how to say “please,” “thank you,” and “you’re welcome” appropriately, as well as how to show appreciation for gifts and acts of kindness.

 

Respect: Students will learn how to treat others with respect, including using kind words, listening attentively, and not interrupting others.

 

Hygiene: Children will learn about good hygiene habits, such as washing their hands, covering their mouths when they cough or sneeze, and using tissues to blow their nose.

Week 3: Dining Etiquette

Table manners: This includes teaching kids how to set a table, use utensils, chew with their mouths closed, and wait their turn to speak. This is a jam packed class!

Week 4: End of Class Party

Putting it all together: We will have juice and cupcakes to practice everything that we have learned in class. We will also learn the importance of writing a thank you note.
